Error replay not yet ready for download

When I try to download replays for games, it errors several times, suggesting to the user the replay is not available with no indication as to why. I was about to say I cannot download replays but after 3-5 attempts it finally does the download without error. I'm wondering if it's just a messaging issue as it finds/spools the replay as maybe nobody else has requested it yet so it may be unpacking it or something.

I have the same issue. I find that I have to open the match history, open the match I intend to get a replay of, and then WAIT on the score screen for a few minutes. I don't know why, but that seems to work. Almost like its buffering the information? I don't know. But anyway I wait a couple minutes and then click the download replay and that seems to work.

Definitely frustrating, tho.

It's normal that the game takes some minutes to process the replay. it's the same as dota's replays.

For me it never works if i try to download a replay from my match history, but if i manually type the match ID in the watch tab, the download works.

With replays, the issue can normally be fixed by browsing to a different match than that desired and then going back to the match you want and downloading it.
