When the enemy Infernus was behind this object, I did not hear the melee sound and failed to parry in time. I think this might have something to do with me upgrading my skill. I witnessed UI sounds completely brick-wall compressing the in-game sounds. The same thing happens when melee'ing the rejuv and obtaining hero level points. The midboss win/lose sound cue gets compressed.
In either case, since we can easily hear enemies through walls while they farm or punch the Sinner's Sacrifice machines, I should've been able to hear the person right behind this object.
