-dx11 stretches the screen when using weird aspect ratio

I have a 16:10 monitor on my laptop (2560x1600), but I prefer using 16:9 view (2560x1440).

When using -vulkan in fullscreen this works correctly with black bars on top and bottom. However, when using -dx11 mode, the image stretches to fill the screen instead.

My system information, just in case:

Hi,

have you tried opening the NVidia Control Panel and changing this setting to 'Aspect ratio' or 'No scaling'? Also might need to put the check mark on 'Override the scaling mode set by games and programs'.
