Random ideas that needs loads of work as might break the game 
Item nr.1 = one that takes up slot and duplicates already owned item of choice.
Quite sure this should be limited to items level 1/2 as duplicating level 3/4 might be game breaking.
Maybe item itself should be level 3 or even 4 = costing more while also forcing people to choose to use two slots with level 1/2 items instead of buying level 3/4.
Item nr.2 = one that flips buffs of weapon / bullet to spirit side, also potentially impacting color (which total investment) it affects. E.g. buying Glass cannon gives you 80% weapon damage -> flip it to 80% spirit damage. Yes, might be OP at the same time you losing a slot for this flip item that on its own does nothing.
