This bug happens with both enemy and ally heros alike.
Exhibit A - Enemy Hero

If any hero is in doorman's line of sight, he will not be able to place any doors. This bug is extremely detrimental to doorman's most creative combo, pushing an ally or enemy through a well timed door, to safety or doom respectively.
This is a very well known critical bug that I have not seen being reported on the forums yet, hence I report it here.
