Doorway in general has a lot of inconsistencies when it comes to placement and projectiles going through, but this is one of the most glaring to me.
When positioned close to a door and attempting to shoot through it, sometimes the character will aim in a completely incorrect direction, as can be seen in the screenshot below. Despite my reticle pointing through the door, Doorman wants to aim completely to the right.

After some testing, I've found that the cause of the issue seems to be attempting to aim at a position through a door that is already within line-of-sight, regardless of angle. I've included an example in the following screenshot. Rather than shooting through the door, Doorman decided to shoot behind him, as can be seen by the bullet trial. It hits the same point, but the path it takes seems to be the shortest possible distance rather than what would be logical for the aiming direction, which leads to problems when trying to shoot around barriers and cover.

There are other issues such as gunshots disappearing completely when trying to shoot through the door, but I've yet to find a more concrete source of those.
