When using ability expanding items and at tier 3, Doorway has a maximum, hard set range in matches. This isn't present in sandbox mode, but it is viisble in actual games, and it also does effect how far the doors can go / it's not purely visible. You can see in the first image, how much doorway has a square shaped range, while in sandbox (with roughly the same placement), my doors are much larger. This is with relatively the same items and upgrades used on both.
