[Investigate] [Catch] [Apprehend]The Inspector is an interdimensional detective who travels realities to help collar up some anomalous individuals. Where a regular detective looks for missing people, he looks for people who dont belong in the reality that they're in. But in his work, he wonders - how did all of this come to be? He was cut from a cloth that didnt exist in the first place, so what was the cause of his conception? The void made something out of nothing, but did someone put something in as the catalyst?
While he worked on his cases, sometimes he'd tune in to the late night radio broadcasts. However, during one particularly nasty interdimensional skip, The Inspector went one way, the frequency went another, and they met in the middle, fusing the void man with the wavelength. The result was interesting - a man stuck between the frequency, a body on the surface, but his voice was stuck in the waves. He adopted this freq accident quite quickly, and he came up with the name "Vanta Hertz" to fit himself, which he would then go by
He never claims to know the answers, he'd much rather say that he's the man attempting to find them. The biggest answer of them all would be to finally figure out who's planted the antenna on his existance - the grand broadcast. Hopefully with a wish from a patron in this world, he can solve that.

Weapon: Dead Air
A modified luger that doesn't shoot bullets, but zaps of concentrated frequency. M1 will fire a bolt as if it were a bullet, and holding alt fire will charge a shot that deals up to 50% increased gun damage. (4 second charge time, 12.5% charge per second)1: Crime Scene Photo

7s Cooldown, 15s time to charge
Hertz fires a flash of light in a cone in front of him, inflicting whoever is in its radius with a stack of "caught" (20 sec). Enemies with a stack of caught will leave 'Photos' (silhouettes) of their character behind when using stamina, which last for 5 seconds.- T1: Cone size increased by 20%, +1 charge
- T2 “Caught” duration increased by 5s, 6% increase to spirit damage directly against caught heros
- T3: Hertz himself can damage them as if they were the hero, dealing 25% of damage compared to if he shot the actual perp as long as the photograph is standing.
2: Broadcast Signal
Lasts 12s, 35s cooldown
When used, place down an empowering antenna that grants you increased fire rate and spirit damage when firing within a 5m radius. Enemies who enter the radius have their health and minimap temporarily hidden for 10s- T1 radius increased by 2m, -10s cooldown
- T2 Enemies who enter the radius for the first time gain Caught for 10s
- T3: The fire rate is doubled and it unlocks increased scaling with spirit. Enemies are briefly silenced for as long as the minimap and health are hidden

Passive upgradable ability
On trigger, lasts 7s, 7s cooldown
When you pass through a veil, you gain a short bonus where you can see through the veil despite the side you are on- T1: Increases view window to 10s
- T2 Passing through the veil 3s after an enemy hero grants you a temporary speed buff
- T3: Permanently triggered, and bullets passing through a veil gain increased gun damage

5s scan window, 120s Cooldown
Become one with the frequency and launch a global signal for a short period of time, detecting all moving enemies. Enemies who move will then be given the "caught" effect for 60s, Photos remain on the ground for 5 seconds, and allies and friendly troops will be able to attack them for 50% damage to the hero. When Caught in inflicted this way, the photographs have a small health pool of 25% of the heros max health- T1 Scan window increased to 8s
- T2 Photo duration increased by 2s
- T3 Heros with caught drop one photo when caught ends, photograph health increased by 5% of heros max health
(NOTE: Pictured below is what would be a "Photo" as I called it. I was thinking about how cool it was to see the heros in the hideout as they were being voted on during that time, and then seeing the man walking where the table was, got me to wonder what else valve can do with them.)
