I'm unsure what exactly have happened, but after respawning, my hero was too small, exactly the same as in spectator mode after scrolling the mousewheel down. I fixed it by rejoining the match, but after rejoining I had another visual glitch that made it impossible to rotate my camera, so I had to restart the game completely.
