Discord Link

Please Valve, for the love of "Almighty Gaben". What is the point of not giving out a permanent Discord link, and just limiting it to 2 hours?

Some of us are not able to get into the Discord server due to bugs, not realizing the link expires in 2 hours, or just other irl stuff that gets in the way. The Discord link nowadays is not showing up on the game client. So, what? Is no one else allowed to get into the Discord server now?

How does not allowing people to get into the community will help the feedback process, and creating a community? I mean, I would understand if it was due to secrecy, but the game is public now, everybody is streaming it.

This post isn't me criticizing or being salty, I am just genuinely confused, and lost...

The discord link failed to copy and so I wasn't able to join it. Now when I try to click "Join the discord" it says that I've already generated a link.

I was never able to join it in the first place!

Click the discord link in game, got the link, went to discord, entered email to claim my account, told my email was already registered and now cannot join the discord. any assistance would be appreciated.

Same issue here. Long time discord user and my discord client is always running (starts on boot). Clicked the link in Deadlock client to join the discord and was taken to a browser tab (i'm never logged into discord in browser because my client is always running) where I was not logged in and asked to claim my account. Entering my Discord account information told me I was already registered and I was not able to join the Discord through the link.

I'm surprised anyone was able to get into the Discord using the link from the client. I don't understand the risk of having the ability to always join the Discord (not just generating an invite link once and never again) or at least recognizing that the current Discord join flow is problematic and re-enabling it to help us out.

Pretty pretty please, let us in!

dude i really need an invite, i tried leaving "community" but instead left the official one
