Disconnected from server, rejoined, and then banned at the end

I had already played one game and started searching for another game. Got to the loading screen and saw the hero selections. Then it disconnected me back to the hideout. I rejoined the game within about 20 seconds and did not miss any time in game. Completed the entire game without getting booted and then received a 24-hour ban on my account plus the 2 games of low priority match making. Has this happened to anyone else?
