Forgot to mention, the see through side of the veil is facing the person that places it.

depending on the balance this could end up a little silly but it could be a really cool item

I think this would be fun, though a box of arbitrary size seems odd. Would probably make more sense as a deployable dome/bubble where you can see out but can't see in.
