Delay between enemy damaged portrait showing after ability is applied

Noticed this when using Vindicta stake. Ability lands and there is a ~1 second delay before enemy damaged portrait shows. Not game breaking but definitely noticeable.

I play on Yamato and last time i notice damage delay on skills Yamato in 3 games.
