Crashing to in-game lobby every minute or so

As of yesterday night I am having issues that cause a disconnect almost every single minute.

It makes the game completely unplayable, and it feels like some sort of desync because my character seems to move further back than what would be possible in the intervening time.

The entire game doesn't crash, I just get booted back to the lobby and I can rejoin with esc but as I stated the position of my character and the amount of time doesn't make sense from my internal conceptions.

I verified game files with no errors or issues.
I am experiencing no other network interruptions that I can determine

This also happens in entirely bot games, within 1 minute I will crash out to the lobby reliably.

Alright figured it out - popped the console and noticed I was getting a steam disconnect each time after I was able to repro with the bot game.

Went and investigated my second box had steam vr running.
The game game no obvious error, but this looks like a "two games running at the same time but its not even a game" causing the auth to boot me.

Highly recommend adding some error handling so that the user has more clarity on the issue.
