Crashing in Shop

I've crashed while buying items in a shop twice now. At the same shop, and doing the same thing. In the shop to the right of Green Lane, I was buying items that needed to be put onto abilities to work. One of them was "Surge of Power". When I was in the screen to select what ability I wanted to put it on, an enemy came in and stunned me. First, it was Abrams. In the second game, Beebop came in and hooked me. I don't know if it actually connected or not, but it was likely. I pressed the escape button to try to get out of the shop to fight back either during the stun, or right before the stun, but my game then crashed. Twice! During two separate games
