Crash and being unable to rejoin the match (Overflow Error?)

Played a match today [ID 28635134] and crashed, I think this is the only time I've ever crashed. Upon trying to rejoin, game would crash again before I even saw the loading screen. This happened twice. Once everything was pre-loaded, I am briefly able to join, I can see the UI and hear players talking, but the screen is black. In one second, I am booted back to the main menu with the error "Overflow Error" displayed. I was never able to rejoin.

Same error, occurs immediately on game start, can't even load the lobby.

This also occurs during a private bot match. The sandbox words fine.

RAM and VRAM are not filling up (cutting it close on GPU but no change from prior, and game runs well enough to date)

Ubuntu 24.04.1
Intel Core i5-6600K
32GB Ram
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB

just got this too. was able to rejoin after 6 attempts but my character was broken. zooming in would cause the camera to spaz out back and forth. Gun wasn't working and movement was locked/ spasming in the fountain after respawning.

Happened to me too and had to abandon a match because of it; I'm on Linux, if that matters...

Possibly related to the following console messages?

Code:
[Networking] Netchan 'server' closed unexpectedly: Too many queued messages (1646)

Same thing. I was dead and accidentally pressed "death replay" then got the Overflow error. Can't rejoin. Have to abandon the match so i can't get the match ID

Same. Im trying to get back in now. I was able to join and then kept getting disconnected due to overflow error. Now I'm verifying integrity of files and it's stuck at 0%.

Edit: I just took my game folder out of it's file path, restarted steam, put the folder back in, got stuck downloading content, and now reinstalling the game lol.

I've been getting an overflow error all day today.
