Hey, I'm not sure if it's intended or not but it seems Seven's ult didn't go through the veil.

You need line of sight to land assassinate. Yet if the places were swapped hers would've landed. Line of sight refers to being able to hit someone because the skill goes from point A to B without obstruction. Veils are not a physical obstruction, merely visual. It should not work this way.
Should hook not land here?
Should Kudzu not tick because the centre is not seeing the other side?
Seven's ult is an AOE just the same and it should work through veils.

I can't think of any other ability in the game that is stopped by Cosmic Veils. This seems like a bug.

Assassinate goes through veil, even if you can't see the target
AFAIK the abilities that specifies in the description that respect lines of sight don't go through the veil, I only know 2 of them, Geist's 2 and Seven's 4.
Update: Lash'4 also respect line of sight

Sevens ultimate is unique. There are even voice lines that tell you to look for cover. Veil is cover. It's supposed to stop his ultimate. Comparing it to a small bomb like AoE like Kudzu is odd. Kudzu is targeted at a location. Sevens ultimate is not. Things that can land near a fog wall, in a radius, obviously go through. They aren't the same type of AoE.
This logic applies to any targetable AoE skill in the game afaik. Ultimates seem to have unique rules. Assassinate is a scoped ability, so obviously there's skill required and to stop that from going through a gate in my opinion would be illogical since guns go through too. Hook also should go through veil as it is a skill shot and you have to aim it. Sevens ultimate isn't aimed. It's automatic.

You're misconstruing what line of sight is. That's all there is to it. This is a bug.

Em.... By that logic, Haze need to take damage in invisibility, bcs she is in AOE of Sevens ult?
Very funny examples, hook is a projectile, and kudzu is a spill. When Sevens ult is an aura.

Because "line of sight" just means an unobstructed line between two points, and a veil is not supposed to be an obstruction, or it would stop bullets, hooks, Geist bombs, beams, and of course players.
