Controls Feel Unresponsive After Spawning

In the most recent update, it feels like my inputs are not being properly registered after I spawn in after dying, I think maybe the issue is that I started holding the movement keys right before my character was alive? Either way, it feels a bit disconcerting at the moment to not have my character move as I expect after I return from the dead.

I agree with this. I normally hold W so I can run in the second I respawn but now it has me just standing there. This isn't the end of the world of course but I would like it to be reverted to how it was if that is possible.

It seems like it ignores inputs for the half a second or so after spawning too. Even when I only press w after spawning it still feels like it ignores it for a tiny bit.

Can confirm this happened to me too. Holding W while respawning doesn't make the character walk immediately - you have to let go of the key and press it again for the character to move.

yep happened to me as well, w won't work immediately after respawning
