Controller button mapping/ aim latency

So Im one of the few pc players that enjoys playing on an xbox elite controller. I noticed the button mapping is not thought out very well because you cant even use all of the abilities with the current mapping. Smite has an easy fix for this, map a bumper to be an alternate menu button, and let the x,y,a,b buttons be your abilities while pressing the bumper.
As for the aiming. Im not asking for aim assist. Destiny 2 doesnt have aim assist on controller and it still feels awesome to play with one. But there is a pretty bad latency issue with the aiming on controller for this game that should be addressed. Its not super crazy but it makes it hard to shoot souls and keep on champions as they move. It would be very nice if this was addressed.

just to clarify destiny 2 has built in bullet magnetism for both m&k and for controller, and controller has "reticle lock"
latency isn't fun for anybody tho, hope this gets fixed o7

I use the DS controller and I don't feel any lag issues, it may just be that your controller configuration uses your default deadband settings, please go to Steam-Settings-Controller-Advanced & Calibration Settings to change the deadband size
