Software development is elusive and difficult. Not to mention that Deadlock probably has its entire team busy as it is, with all the content on the way, mechanics and systems needing work, bugs, etc.
Calling the devs lazy for not dropping everything they'd been doing to go and magically figure out the comms issue within five minutes of being told to only shows your lack of understanding of two things:
1. The process entirely;
2. The fact that you're a part of the early play test - not many things will stay the same when the game hits 1.0, nothing is its final state (except Lash it seems, for he is perfect).
You're complaining like a player, as if the game's been in a broken state for several months without a single update (content or otherwise), but that is simply not the case: you're playtesting an early version of Deadlock, its somewhat early vision. You've acquired an invite to ultimately provide data that the game can collect and some feedback for when it can't.
If you think of it that way, you'll have a much easier time with anything that doesn't feel right, and maybe contribute to the better game in the end through your feedback. Just try to trust the process and don't treat the beta (if that) you're playing as Dota 2 or CS2 or LoL.
