Colossus Active Not Changing Hitbox

I was messing around in testing with a buddy (Kelvin) and I was playing Abrams. He used Ice beam, I used Colossus and beam went through Abrams head. Easily reproducable, Ice beam went through Ivy's head too when using Colossus.
