Ok, so I usually play with a group of 3-5 people, so we may notice this more due to this.
BUG: Prio champs are not being honored in the latest patches - for street brawler mode. Maybe for regular too.
(When street brawl mode was released this was not the case, however in the past couple days? we have noticed this issue.)
Bug is:
We have a 4-man team. We all pick the others' champs, and prio one (yes, this works around the random aspect, but there is also a feature request here to select the champ we wanna play
)
BUT we noticed in the last patch or two, it was not just ignored, but almost the opposite. I had a champ high prio and two others not. Even with a team, I didn't get the high prio for many games. Team mates also faced this AND we had games where someone high prio'ed a champ...and no one got the champ. Not even the enemy team. This was over probably 30+? games (can check exact numbers if needed).
Maybe this is a new random feature, but I will admit for some (including me) there are some games where we know what champ we want to play and getting one we don't want does kill the dopamine a lot
But it seems like a bug considering how often we don't (and no one else) gets the champ we high prio.
While I realize asking for the same champ each time in solo queue is a different request, there is definitely something messed up with champ select right now. Let me know if you want more details, will be happy to provide.
