Can't Self-Cast Divine Barrier

I've recently been having trouble self-casting divine barrier. Sometime during the match it will just stop allowing me to self cast.
Still can be cast on allies, and it seems to work again if I put it on a different item slot (but I'm pretty sure putting it back on the original slot again just breaks it again)

what kind of self-cast option do you have? double-tap is fiddly with the speed it needs to be pressed to work

I use alt + item key to self cast
