Can't change key binds on steam deck desktop mode

I'm playing on my steam deck in desktop mode with mouse and keyboard. I wanted to change the hotkeys via Settings, but in the settings menu the hotkeys tab opens the steam input controller settings,therefore i cant change anything. Also in game it shows they steam deck controller glyphes.

This launch option fixed it:
SteamDeck=0 %command%
