Cannot type email into the Join Forums popup on Steam Deck

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Deadlock in Steam Deck
2. Click the Join Forums button on the main menu
3. Observe the popup, focus the cursor on the email input
4. Attempt to type, observe no response

Keyboards are working fine, and even working in other areas of the game as I can enter keys on the Settings -> Audio -> Push to Talk binding option and it accepts keystrokes.

Failing workarounds attempted

- Use steam on-screen keyboard
- Use bluetooth keyboard
- Use USB wireless keyboard
- Use desktop mode

Working workaround:

- Ctrl+V clipboard text into the email input field.
