Build version: 5,427
Occurrence rate: 100% (always issue)
Preconditions:
1. Set resolution to "Fullscreen"
2. Restart game, or play game for some time. Alt-tab kind of works immediately after setting resolution to fullscreen, but only for a few minutes. After this short period it will be back to not working.
Steps:
1. alt-tab
2. press windows key
3. click another desktop app open on your taskbar
Expected outcome:
1. switches to your last-used application
2. taskbar pops up on the bottom
3. switches to the app you click on
Actual outcome:
1. always forces you to be on deadlock
2. taskbar pops up on the bottom
3. opens deadlock instead of the app you click
Recovery action:
1. Click apply settings to set it to "Fullscreen" and it will let you alt tab a few times, but very quickly you will become locked in deadlock again
2. Set to Borderless Windowed - does not have this issue.
