Buncha Melee Items

This game is a shooter at heart, but it is also clearly more than that! The full melee system of light attacks, heavy attacks, and parries makes it super clear that this is a mechanical aspect of the game that shouldn't be ignored. In fact, some champions like Yamato, Bebop, and Abrams have stats and kits that encourage melee play to a high level. That said, there aren't any late game melee items or big interactions with the melee system. Let's change that!

Note!: I won't mention specific stats unless it makes sense to. I want to focus more on effects that can enhance the system. Therefore, some items may seem subpar, but you can imagine that these items would have additional stats to go along with their effects and notable stats.

Impact Absorption (Vitality)
+ Melee armor
Passive: When you parry a melee attack, regain health based on its charge.

Impact Reload (Vitality)
+ Ammo
+ Melee dmg
+ Melee armor
Passive (medium cd): When you parry a melee, instantly reload your weapon and deal bonus damage based on your melee damage for that clip.

Heavy-Metal Gauntlets (Vitality)
+ Weapon shield
Passive (long cd): When you successfully land a heavy melee on a hero, instantly refresh your Weapon shields.

Monster Hunter's Gloves (Vitality)
+ NPC armor
Passive: Your melee attacks deal increased damage to NPCs.
Passive: If you melee attack an NPC while reloading, the remaining duration of your reload will be reduced by a small amount.

Stunning Strike (Spirit)
+ Spirit dmg
+ Melee dmg
Passive (short cd): When you light or heavy a hero, deal bonus spirit damage, reduce their spirit resist, and stun them for a short duration.

Phantom Punch (Spirit)
+ Spirit dmg
Active (medium cd): Launch a sudden melee attack with a ghostly fist. This is a Light Melee attack that scales with Spirit and does not interact with the melee CDs.

Soul Marker (Spirit)
Passive (short cd): When you melee an enemy hero, your next attack or ability on that hero deals bonus Spirit dmg.

Machine-Gun Flurry (Weapon)
+ Fire rate
Passive: Your light and heavy melee attacks are faster and the charge time for a heavy attack decreases with fire rate.

High-Caliber Jabs (Weapon)
+ Weapon dmg
Passive: Your melee attacks deal bonus dmg based on your weapon dmg.

Magnetic Strike (Weapon)
Passive: Melee charge passive.
Active (long cd): Lock onto an enemy hero and dash into melee range of them, delivering a light melee attack on arrival.

Static Fists (Weapon)
+ Fire rate
+ Weapon dmg
Passive: Dealing weapon dmg to enemy heroes charges up bonus dmg on your next melee attack.

Quick Strikes (Weapon)
Passive: Your light attacks have increased dmg, but your heavy attacks deal reduced dmg.

Cursed Grip (Weapon)
+ Multiple weapon stats
- Melee armor
Passive: You can no longer heavy melee attack.

These are just some interesting ideas that I could come up with, and, if anything, this post should demonstrate that there is a lot of untapped design space when it comes to the melee system. I don't believe that the current shop needs ALL of these additional items, but a few healthy additions could definitely spice up melee gameplay!
