Let's suppose I input some text in the description of a category for items in the Build Menu, such as "Purchase in roughly this order. Consider selling in mid-phase." Let's then suppose I want to input some additional text between some of the already existing text, such as making it say "Consider selling ones that aren't upgraded in mid-phase." When I click in the area I want to edit and input a character, the character gets added just fine in that position. However, any subsequent text immediately gets appended to the end of the main body of the description, because the cursor will immediately jump to the end of the field, which seems undesirable. For example, if I were to click on the appropriate area and add the text without looking at the results, the actual text would be "Consider selling oin mid-phase.nes that aren't upgraded"
This is undesirable for the user experience, because to then actually render the text as I want it to be, I have to repeatedly click in the correct position for every character I input. This means clicking for the n, e, s, spacebar, t, h, a, t, spacebar, a, r, e, n, ', t, spacebar, u, p, g, r, a, d, e and d keys. While this isn't exactly a high-priority issue - after all, the results can still be achieved - I feel it's worth flagging as it's not an intuitive system.
The same is true for deleting sections of text. If I were to hold the backspace key, it will delete the first character fine, but then immediately jump to the end of the text field and start deleting whatever is at the end.
Perhaps this is intended behaviour, but as a user, it definitely doesn't feel like it. In my view, this seems buggy and the cursor for the text field should always be after the most recently inputted characted.
Thank you for your time and making this highly enjoyable game. Sorry if the title was a bit mysterious; didn't know how to succinctly phrase this.
