After the 4180 update today, I launched the game and noticed the menu was basically a slideshow, showing 1 new frame every 2-3 seconds. Hoped it was just a menu issue and queued for a game. It was even worse, so I had to abandon while I tried some stuff.
Eventually discovered that it was caused by the open mic setting being enabled. The "voice threshold" bar was showing a full line of green. I unchecked the "open mic" box and the issue went away completely. I was then able to re-check the open mic setting and it worked as intended.
I would also note that prior to this update today, I was not able to get my mic working through steam voice chat settings.
