Bug, Venator ult + sharpshooter = 1500 dmg (conditional weapon damage math bugs)

1) go to sandbox
2) place two abrams so you can test sharpshooter
3) max out venator skills
4) now this is where it gets interesting, for some reason this bug does not trigger right away, try to kill a few bots using traps, melee, grenades and whatnot, buy sharpshooter and extra charge item, then set up the final test
5) bug - check the video, for some reason sharpshooter boosts dmg by 200%

(i also tested this with meaty 3k abrams targets, same weird 1500 dmg from single Venator ult headshot)

I'm unclear how it works, but yeah, you can one shot people with Venator ult by just buying Sharpshooter, Opening Rounds and Point Black, it deals over 5000 damage. The game reported that I got "3 headshot kills", which can only come from the ult, because I am punch sinclair, I do not shoot people.

I have hit a clip of a triple kill with it, you are now obligated to hotfix it within the hour.

Aha!
So the bug appears once venator gets levels and starts impacting the skills because they scale off hero level.

Yoshi pls check the dmg formulas, something is probably divided by a zero somewhere leading to infinte dmg.

Yes I'm being instakilled by venator for 2700 damage iwth ira domini. Definitely scaling with a bug

To reiterate what I said in the other thread, I suspect it's got something to do with weapon damage affecting it twice because his ult is technically a "gun".

Think this is broken, yeah. Having just sharpshooter equipped at max boons causes the stakes to do 3x the damage as having glass cannon equipped.

I dont think Battle Vest is currently bugged (it applies the damage bonus differently to the other items in that its always there when you're above the HP threshold and can be seen on the lefthand side with the +15% weapon damage indicator). Opening Rounds, Long Range, Sharpshooter, Close Quarters and Point Blank cause the massive damage increases though.
