+30 Imbued Ability Spirit Power

Passive: Healbane
Your Spirit Damage applies Healing Reduction. If an enemy hero dies under this effect, you receive a large heal.
-35% healing reduction
275 healing on kill
8s duration

Passive: Bloodstone
Imbue an ability with additional spirit power. If an enemy hero dies as result of this ability's damage, increase this bonus by 10 (up to a max of 5 times). Death results in the loss of one stack.

This item would function as a spirit based parallel to Glass Cannon, and only increases the burst of damage received from a single ability. Characters like Sinclair, Grey Talon, Vindicta, and Paige with high burst abilities would be able to further increase the burst potential of a specific ability. The tradeoff of upgrading from healbane is the loss of 7 bonus spirit on the other 3 abilities. The 30 base imbued spirit serves to make it a higher value than surge of power without the gun and speed based buffs and allows the item to be of benefit as soon as it's purchased.

I really like the glass cannon similarity, but I don't see how it ties into healbane
I think it would be hard to implement it as a natural upgrade to surge of power without being too overpowered, and as a standalone would have to have MUCH more spirit power to make it stand out form an item that costs half as much to imbue on a single ability. I think it ties in more thematically, and it would be nice to be able to upgrade healbane to make it a more worthwhile purchase into the late game.

Healbane is already a really good purchase. Giving it an upgrade would be pretty pointless.

it´s not when you enter lategame, upgrades are always usefull since it makes you able to scale better
Games never drag out long enough where you'd legitimately need an upgrade. Healbane is very strong, nothing else can give you 8 seconds of 35% heal reduction on every single instance of spirit damage. An upgrade that doesn't iterate on healbane's defining strength just won't get bought. One that does would be incredibly broken and game-warping.

whats point of increasing burst damage potential of characters like Gray Talon, he already have outstanding burst, maybe strongest in game. I agree with adding more spirit items but it should be any other game play dierction, not just burst damage upgrade. Also Healbane is complete standalone item whiсh dont need upgrades.

Healbane is a good item, but is generally pretty situational. There are stronger anti-heal options. I do think that Healbane could actually afford an upgrade.

Healbane's Strength comes from the fact that it is the only item based Anti-heal effect that has no ramp up (Soul Burn and Toxic Bullets both require build-up) and no CD.

The thing is, Anti-heal having a build up is not a major negative. You don't typically need Anti-heal right away. This means that Healbane's Anti-heal passive gets most of it's value from not having a CD, which is basically only really useful against Victor. Maybe also useful against Viscous and Yamato who both have the ability to purge Debuffs.

I would not be opposed to having an upgrade to Healbane that also causes the user to deal extra damage to barriers. This would make it pretty useful in the current item landscape as items like Majestic Leap and Reactive Barrier are SUPER strong, but there are relatively few ways to get around the extra barrier those items offer besides just... burst the enemy harder.

I would say pretty much the same, that was already said here.

First - I like the Glass Cannon we have. I like any items, that have stacks. It would be a good addition to the game to have something for spirit builds. But the idea of stacking Spirit Power is definitely not for Healbane or any anti-heal items.

Second - I'm afraid that some abilities would become powerful enough to be only countered by Counterspell or Ethereal Shift. For example, Talon's 1. Maybe if it gave some downsides to other abilities, it would be more balanced.

Third - In fact, Healbane can have an upgrade version, even a few. It should be fit to health theme, but necessarily in form of simple healing reduction, like Healbane already provides.
