BkB or Blademail Equivalent

There's a lot of builds going around right now that rely almost entirely on large bursts of spirit and while there are high-level item upgrades that counter left-click builds based around weapon damage, it seems like the spirit side has less effective options.

Perhaps some kind of BkB or Blademail in the higher price tiers to allow for someone to recognize the carry threat of the spirit nuker on the enemy team and invest heavily into trying to counter them?

+1 for this idea. Spirit damage can quickly get out of control and the only counter play are the spirit shield and spirit resistance upgrades. All the current best characters (infernus, pocket, paradox, lash) rely heavily on spirit damage.

Unstoppable offers a temporary 40% spirit resist, but it's never been affordable when I need it most (between mins 25-40). An active spirit reflection item would definitely be useful to counter nukers.

I think part of the reason for this is Metal Skin is a tier 3 item, but Unstoppable (which doesn't entirely prevent Spirit damage) is a tier 4 and doesn't entirely stop spirit damage, so spirit currently scales longer than bullets.
