Holding 1 whilst very high up in the area via magic carpet, causes you to slam the aim on your way down and does not hit a target. Compare this with hitting 1 immediately.

Testing around this area. May be because of getting close to other geometry? Could be fall speed? I notice manually cancelling carpet seems to less likely hit the air, missing a potential target from below.
Might be a velocity check issue.
