Bebop's ult is still powerful

That guy sat there tanking your ult like a nub. He deserved to lose. He finally rolls around you (even tho he has a teleport) and goes in for a melee punch, even though that ult has splash. All he had to do was teleport to your side, or dash jump, and avoid the beam. He definitely could have killed you.

As far as I noticed, Wraith used all stamina to close the distance in a first place

The second clip was on them.

Knockdown - if anyone bought it - would be instant counter and easy kill.
Talon's bird (if he didn't use it seconds earlier to probably finish 2 players) stuns

Or they could've just hide in buildings and wait for your ult to end. It's not like they had to fight you here, they were inside your base already.

(And that's ignoring the fact that Geist, Warden and Vicious literally sat in your ult taking damage and healing you)

He used (as you can see) to kill Haze which also important target. I had unstoppable to counter knockdown (even tho I pressed it like an idiot lmao), but I also saw it used on Haze.

And thing is, it is still 5 heroes versus one guy with ultimate. One.

That's powerful, but you're also 13k souls above average enemy, which is 2 tier 4 items. And your spirit/vitality build makes you almost useless damage-wise for 50-60 seconds between ults. Not being able to 1v1 anyone without ult while being 13k souls above them is not powerful.
40 seconds between ults*

It also from the game that we were hard losing (we hado pen shrines at 18 min). But we held the ground mostly because I could just ult anytime when hovering over the base and clear all troopers and either kill or deal A LOT of damage. Damage that they couldn't outdps because of how much healing I had

You can make it even 30, but that's if you count full duration of the ult, which can be up to 31s. But usually everyone scatters/hides within first 5-10s, and then you have to cancel it because you're just hovering there doing nothing while your team continues to fight behind the corner
It's definitely powerful vs low elo enemies who don't know how to deal with it. They are just standing in the open trying to shoot you because it might have worked for them when your ult was lvl1-2. If you're facing players like that you should try using majestic leap and warp stone to gain altitude for better ults. The higher you are the easier for you to aim because your laser turns slowly. Also harder for them to shoot you.
I personally don't like ult bebop builds, and almost always play double bomb as its more fun and you can be more creative with your build, but sometimes go hybrid with ult build when facing both pocket, viscous and dynamo

A knife is pretty effective against a potato, so is a hammer, a car tire, basically anything can destroy a potato.

I don't think the issue is bebops ult, I think its the guy just sitting in an ult that BARELY kept you alive with all 3 points lool.

Grouping up, lack of awareness, not knowing how to LOS and NOBODY having any sort of stun or knock is the main issue with aoe ults. You can nerf them into literal uselessness I guess?

I just played a game against one where I think he had less than 10 seconds between ult uses. Literally oppressive.

Like you can break LOS all you want, but when you can't move and the rest of the enemy team can there's not a lot you can do.

You don't cancel for other reason: You denying entire zone for that duration and as long as you hovering with ultimate they cannot peak or walk through that zone. It is especially effective in mid boss, Patron bases and streets around base becuase your ult hits through entire street lanes (because 100m range lmao)

I try to do that as much as I can. It is situational though. There are a lot of situations in the game that are between enemies running away and enemies standing under your laser. You don't cancel it for as long as you feel like you're helping your team with your ult. It's definitely very effective on the enemy base to not let enemies run out of the base after they respawn or when defending your own base. But there are situations in team fights when enemies run behind the corner and your team chases them. In this case you're not really contributing to team fight once they're behind the corner, you're just denying area to make room that your team can retreat to (which also can be useful).

I've also mentioned that I'm usually playing bomb bebop build, so I can be more effective outside my ult and can cancel it to go help my team with bombs.
If you don't have an Echo Shard or many stacks on your 2, you likely (depending on your build) don't have much damage outside of your ult. So you might as well just hover denying the area and hoping somebody walks in you line of sight
