Bebop T3 Uppercut Upgrade triggers when Counterspelled

Very easy to replicate, Bebops T3 upgrade on Uppercut will activate (reset the cooldown of Hook to 0 seconds) even if the Uppercut is Counterspelled.

Doesn't seem like a bug, since the T3 does state "on hero hit". Counterspell doesn't actually prevent hits, it just prevents the negative effects from being applied. Billy's Rising Ram does the same thing.

Personally I think it makes for an inconsistency with the ability of Counterspell. From my opinion if I Counterspell an ability, it should be treated as if that ability missed or was cancelled, since the wording specifically is that you are protected from the "damage and effects" of the ability. If anything, Billy's Rising Ram also booping you up in the air is even worse than Bebop as its even more contradictory to the description of Counterspell and is actively detrimental.

I get it, but that's more of a feedback. Counterspell "protects you" from effects, but don't prevent hits. Otherwise, this would mean that Bebop's uppercut would be "canceled" out entirely. That's not "protecting you", that's "canceling". In that same vein, because it's not canceled, it will still end up "hitting".

What Counterspell does is that once it triggers from an ability hit, you enter an 0.8s duration "Spell Parry" effect, which prevents you from being damaged by abilities and be targeted by various effects. You are still "hit", you just don't take damage and ignore most spell effects. I'm guessing a displacement like Billy's isn't the same, and again, self-buffs don't apply as those are just really "on-hit".
