Bebop bomb visual appearing on nothing out of nowhere

As soon as I get vision of Bebop on the map the bomb visual gets placed in front of me on nothing and disappears without an explosion.

I've had the same happen. Bebop was somewhere else on the map, but the bomb visual effect appeared out of thin air.
