Bebook hook going through veils

I am not sure if this is just in sandbox mode, but the bebop hook does not hook through the veil from the side that would make everything invisible. If you can shoot through it and beam through it why can I not try to throw a random hook through the veil and grab someone randomly if i think they are there. I only tested this on the sandbox veil if it works in the normal game thats great, but at least the sandbox one is bugged unless its intended

I noticed this the other day, forgot to make a post.
Here's a vid of it, basically if they're too close to the veil wall and you try to hook from the blind side, it won't hook.
If they're further from the veil, then you can hook.

Yeah and it does the same thing with allies as well you cannot hook the ally if they are to close to the veil which i dont think makes to much sense for saving or hooking enemies why would the distance matter behind it haha
