Base guardians might not count as objective damage?

I've seen this a few times and it's hard to pin down. But it seems as if the base guardian towers might not be counting for objective damage on the scoreboard in some situations.

Because i swear I've dumped entire magazines into them lategame and still come away with very low objective damage.
 
Yea I just had the same issue too. Wasn't able to damage guards or walkers, but I soloed a base boss set and I got 0 obj dmg. Match ID was 22357679 and I was Mc G.
