I queued up for a match and it said something along the lines of "after several attempts the server could not be connected". After relaunch and trying to rejoin, it didn't work. I had this happen once before and I went into hero testing, then left, and it warned me about a matchmaking penalty for leaving (!). Now Rejoin became Find Match but I am banned until 11:30pm tonight 
Obviously my evening would be much better if I could play tonight
But either way re: the bug, I had tried to spectate while I was queued initially - and I was in the "waiting for the server to start the broadcast" mode when the match was found and tried to connect (and failed per above). Hope that helps narrow this down!
