Fwiw, if you are trying to practice something locally there's a private bot match option you can use which doesn't penalize you for leaving as it's just and bots versus you, other players and bots.
ok i will do that next time, however i don't think this is reasonable. What is the harm in leaving a public bot match to your team? The bots are brain dead and it doesn't hurt the players. They should tell you before you leave the game not during the abandoned match in the main menu.
