I was playing when my game crashed with the message that my vpk was corrupt and that I needed to verify the integrity of my game files. It wouldn't let me verify, and when I tried to launch the game again it was stuck on 'Downloading - 0%'. I had to fully uninstall and reinstall the game to get it working again. There was no rejoin match message, and when I tried to play again it said I had a six hour ban from matchmaking. Why am I getting punished because of a bug? Also, banning people from playing PRIVATE bot matches is even more asinine and makes me not even want to play this game anymore.
