Banned Because Game Crashed

I tried searching for a game and then my game started to lag out so I tried to cancel the search and close the game but then upon loading back in it said I was already in a game and now my account is banned.

Is there any way that I can have this unbanned considering I connected back to the lobby before the game had even started ever and was still in the waiting room.

Same thing happened to me two days in a row now- have had performance issues in the hideout that never happened in the city for a while now, but it suddenly got so much worse and I don't know why.
