I don't ever abandon a match, I can suck it up and take the L or long slow map for the L. The two times my connection dropped the first time I was able to Rejoin but still took the penalty. The second time took around 5 min to reconnect and then I received a 2 hour ban. I'd suggest on not such long ban timers. This will discourage people from playing the game. Once you lose that person to say a 2 hour ban timer they will be gone. If you have issues like I have read in other post people getting banned and not even connecting to the game? That will make even more people not want to play your game. I do think there should be bans for people that abandon a game on purpose. But banning people who can't connect or have a disconnect is a different story and should really not be held to that same standard.
