When I started the game, I could not use any of the 1-4 abilities, but I could do everything else. I went to restart because I still couldn't use them after I died, but then, even after several attempts, it kept crashing when I clicked rejoin game. I ended up updating my computer hoping it would help, but by the time I got back it was over, and now I'm banned due to no fault of my own.
