(HAZE with lucky shot clearly is unkillable at all , she erase in a matter of second and noone in team have 50k networth)

It is not the first example and not the last example. There is plenty other examples on 224 pages. The problem is quite serious and should be concidered the core problem at this point.


It is happening periodicly and with clear patter. Game creating unwinable matches time to time.


Is there any rational behind this? Is this intentionaly or just a huge matchmaking engine bug?

If this is intentional (becasue a pattern is quite clear) then why and who decided it to be like that?



Do you guys developers do anything in this concern and what actually going on behind the scene?

Is there any good positive vibes in matchmaker developing or the game will further feed unwinable matches ?

P:S: It would be nice if you can spoil light on matchmaking engine in upcoming updates. We as a players do not need new heroes or item rebalancing or whatsoever.

The main problem of the game is unwinable ,onesided macthes and if you could throw your brain power to resolve the issue at least partly it would be the biggest win for whole community.

Tell how more we could help you to make a better changes to matchmaking??

I don't understand at all what is going on and why there is such a clear pattern of unwinable ,onesided matches..

The issue stems from them merging unranked and ranked coupled with that how mmr was done and is done. There are a lot of players that don't have enough hours but was given a rank that turned out to be outside their skill level (both below and above). Throw that together with matchmaker thinking phantom+archon=oracle. Which is extremely dumb, but it happens (evidence in bad match thread). You being able to matchmake a whole full tier different AVERAGE lobby should make this abundantly clear. If you are say Archon I, and get into an Oracle I average lobby that means someone is probably around Oracle 6 or Phantom 1 in your team to counter that or simply several Oracle 4-5. Still, this lone Archon I guy that also likely has less playtime is maybe not gonna do so well. Now simply apply that to pretty much every single match being played. Also there is a reason we barely see complaints from Phantom, Ascension and Eternus lobbies in the matchup thread because the higher you go the more deserving their rank relative to skill is but definitely not absolute.

For me the issue is quite simple and the solution simple. Reset mmr and everyone starts at 0 with placements. Anyone that doesn't play a lot won't rank up that much and get to play with people at their appropriate skill and/or commitment. Of course when and if they'd reset mmr you're going to have wild stomps at the start before it evens out and old Eternus/Ascencion players get ahead.

I'm sure this game did not start players at 0 mmr if you followed Tracklock from it's inception and the vast anectodal evidence in matchup thread about players admitting to them having a very very very low match count and still in like Arcanist-Archon territory. It's more like old OW when you first ever ranked game you were assumed gold and placements up or downed you. I guess they could do that with a reset too but personally I'd prefer more of an Apex approach. Start at 0 and work your way up, the details of how that would work for Deadlock is probably what someone hopefully is getting paid for.
