If u get the arcane surge buff after dash-jump and use either Ivy’s stone form or Infernus’s ultimate, the buff will be removed before ability finishes. It can be seen more clearly with Ivy, when using her form the range suddenly shrinks when she starts to fall down. Infernus’s explosion from ultimate will not affect enemies on the end of it’s range, and the mark from explosion is a little smaller then the flaming border.
A little off topic but I think that it would make more sense if it showed the extra stats from “Arcane Surge!” effect on the left before you use ur ability, rather when having “Ability Surged!” effect throughout whole duration of buffed ability.
