First off, I love the game! Keep doing a great job. I wanted to talk about a few things that feel over/undertuned.
I think the cooldowns of some actives are too overtuned. I'm able to run into a team, get focused by tons of abilities and be invulnerable with Ethereal. If I chain Fleet Foot afterwards, I can get out with the majority of my health and abilities. Sure, it's avoidable on my enemies part but the cooldowns are still very low.
I think neutral camps/objectives are undertuned. The mid objective feels like a waste of time. Sure it gives a good amount of souls but I think pushing the 4 lanes and collecting cs from all sides is more beneficial. The objectives don't have a super powerful effect like they do in dota/league.
The guardian feels undertuned. If I get two or three solo kills, the guardian is gone. I often have double the enemy's souls by 9 minutes if this happens because they can't fall back to the safety of their guardian and snowballing happens really quickly in this game.
There is a lot of audio clutter and some sounds are disproportionately more noticeable. If multiple creeps attack at once, the sounds of getting hit is quite loud. Some ults are really quiet in comparison which is frustrating when ultimates are much more lethal.
Melee attacks need smart targeting. Using the melee attack on the orbs to secure souls is satisfying but sometimes it will bug out. I was dueling an enemy hero and they were very low so I dashed in and tried to melee attack them. However, there was a soul orb that spawned and I hit the orb instead of the enemy hero.
The camera view is wonky at times. Especially when interacting with the environment, the camera will sometimes glitch out.
Please add more pings! I think there is not enough pings to coordinate plays or warn enemies. I rarely hear people use voice chat here so it would be a nice quality of life update to signal things to other players.
Overall, I am obsessed with this game. I enjoy both fps and moba games and this scratches the itch for both at once. These are all just my opinion but I hope my feedback is helpful. Deadlock is extremely fun, even in beta. Thanks for reading
