9k alchemist fire upgrade, Beast of Flame (Summon)

wouldnt this be better if it either:

A - Was a stationary fire hydra like beast taht works how you explain but lets you control yourself (siege item)

B - Is a possession item where you become the beast itself for the duration, personally gaining these bonus stats but can only uses these attacks (think super fire Ava)

It would definitely be busted wiht either of those options. That sounds incredibly hard to stop you + it taking a walker and with the later option it just becomes a +4000 health back pocket option.

i mean, the original sounds equally busted but you can hide your body somehwere safe like a grey talon ulting. That seems more busted because its safer to use.

Option a is less op in the way that it can be misplaced and not be able to reach what you need it to be able to in order to attack and can be wasted.

Option b forces you to be the beast, instead of hiding. Otherwise, you are just taking on these exact stats and functioning exactly the way you have it in your brain, but less safe. Maybe add a line saying if the beast dies you die. I am guessing you think you would revert to your normal self with your normal hp, but that would only happen if the timer runs out.

In general, this item is hella op lol

Yes you are not in the fight and the summon is. But that doesn't just mean you're safe (you hope. they can find your body) it means they are safe from you. Either way the total number of enemies they are facing at once stays the same.

I've been thinking about this. It's definitely OP but I know how to fix it. i'll make the redraft.

this seems far more reasonable. I still prefer the idea of it being a stationary hydra creature that spawns from the alchemical fire that you throw.

But this new version is far less OP and i would test it.

Stationary dragon like creature is what i immeadiatelly assumed when i read the thread and saw alch fire as a component, seems like a fun idea. I think deadlock could use more summon shenanigans.

I don't think that would be as interesting because you would use it in the same way you do alchemist fire just with more damage. This is laying down alchemists fires but is a totally different experience.

I mean, both can work. me and Дедлокер are on the same page here as it is just the first thought.

Could potentially be 2 different items. One thing I really would like to see are item upgrades that split into choices. Like both of these are in the game but provide obviously difference playstyles and purposes and you choose which one to upgrade too.
