8 hr banned after game crashing due to corrupt citadel.pak file

I was mid match, when my game started to have big, multi second lag spikes, appearing briefly like the program was about to crash before it finally did. Whenever this game crashes or I've intentionally attempted to restart mid-match, it seemingly stunlocks my computer for several minutes before I was able to restart the game. This time was the same, and fortunately I was able to rejoin the game before it registered that I had 'quit' but after rejoining I had an encounter with an opposing player when the game crashed and said something about a corrupt .pak file, (I believe it said 'citadel' in the file name) and to reverify the integrity of the game files. I attempted to reboot the game, but it was stuck at 0% downloading content, then tried to verify integrity of the game files where it similarly was stuck at 0%. I then restarted steam where it then reverified the game files properly and allowed me to relaunch the game. I rejoined my match, which had the 'this match is now safe to leave it will not be scored' tag, but nobody actually had left the game and it was a full match once I rejoined. We lost, no doubt because I was 15 levels behind the enemy team, but it was a valiant effort nonetheless. I just tried to relaunch the game to grab the match ID, but it crashed upon doing so with the same citadel.pak is corrupt error. After closing Steam and relaunching the game, it verified game files like earlier, and I was able to successfully launch the game and grab the match ID, which is 66211081.

I reported a similar bug a few weeks ago, and clearly the game is in active development, and understandably issues like this arise; but I once again will voice my opinion that the quit/ban system of this game is too stringent and punishing currently for how frequently such issues arise while playing the game regularly.
