Since I've already proposed two spirit-related items, I think I'll give it a shot with two bullet items, again focusing on the give-and-take format from my previous posts.
First Item - Heavy Rounds / Armor-Piercing Rounds (Not sure about the name, but you get the idea): The effect I’m aiming for here is the opposite of something like High Velocity Mag or Pristine Emblem. Instead of increasing velocity (or perhaps fire rate), this item would reduce it while providing a bullet resist-shredding effect that builds up over time, similar to Toxic Bullets, to compensate for the reduced velocity.
Second Item - Blood Bullets (Active): For the next X amount of seconds, your bullets will cost you X% of your HP (similar to Shiv's Bloodletting) to increase your bullet damage by X%. At the end of the duration, you take the stored %HP damage. I’m not sure if this damage should be reducible by bullet resist (similar to Lady Geist) or if it should be true 1-to-1 damage — that would be up to the developers if they choose to implement this idea.
For the first item, I think it’s a bit weak, but since I’m not much of a left-click enjoyer, I’m having a harder time coming up with fun ideas that would work. The second idea, on the other hand, feels like a solid give-and-take design for bullet items. While something like Glass Cannon simply takes HP away, this item would allow you to decide when, where, and how much of a trade-off you want to make.
I’ll leave it up to the developers to decide the soul price and any associated stats if they choose to implement this idea.
